The beach is a playground for young and old. Both Stewarts Bay Beach and Ladies Bay are sheltered and ideal for snorkelling. Our walking trails are great exercise machines.
Airconditioning Our new spa deluxe cabins are have reverse cycle airconditioning.
Baby Cots and Highchairs Baby cots, highchairs, cot linen and blankets are available free of charge. Please indicate your requirements at the time of booking.
Banks and EFTPOS Major banks are in Hobart. There are Westpac and Commonwealth Bank branches in Sorell. The Port Arthur General Store operates a Post Office banking service. Automatic teller machines are located in the supermarkets at Nubeena. There is also an ATM inside the building at the Historic Site.
BBQ Areas Barbecue and tables are provided at the resort. You can also have a BBQ on Stewarts Bay Beach.
Beach Towels Beach towels are available for your use free of charge.
Bottle Shops There is a drive-in bottle shop at the Fox and Hounds, 2kms north of Stewarts Bay Lodge or alternatively there is a bottle shop at the Nubeena Tavern and at the IGA supermarket at Nubeena.
CD Player A CD & DVD player and radio is provided. In it you will find a relaxation CD to create the perfect mood. DVDs are available for use free of charge from reception.

Messages We will do our best to get messages delivered to your cabin.
Payment We accept Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, Amex, Diners and EFTPOS. A fee will apply for the ust of Amex & Diners Cards. We even accept cash!
Pets In order to protect our wildlife, we regret pets are not allowed.
Post Office and Shops Adjacent to our driveway entrance is the Port Arthur General Store. There is a wide range of grocery items available and they are open from 7:30am till 8pm. Inside the general store is a Post Office which is open 9am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Supermarket A 10 minute drive further along the Arthur Highway is the town of Nubeena where you will find two IGA supermarkets, post office, newsagency, chemist, bakery and takeaway, hardware store and hairdresser.
Phone The public phone is just past the shop at the end of our driveway. The Historic Site also has public phones located outside the main building. Phone and internet credit cards are available from the Port Arthur General Store and both IGA Supermarkets at Nubeena.
Reception Reception is open 8am till 6pm daily (slightly longer hours in summer). A small variety of gourmet foods, delicacies, tea and freshly ground coffee is available for purchase from reception. Information and brochures about our local attractions are also available from reception.
Servicing of Cabins Cabins are serviced at the end of your stay. Tea and coffee are complimentary on your arrival and more supplies are available from reception or the general store.
Smoking All cabins are strictly non-smoking for the comfort of future guests.
Television Stewarts Bay Lodge has a digital television system and receives excellent reception of all stations.
Water As part of our environmental commitment, the water you use is obtained from the cleanest source imaginable – rain.
